We will need to see a copy of your photo in order to make a judgment about its cost.
We’ve tried to make this process as simple as possible. Hopefully these steps will help.
- Have a look at the examples and descriptions on this website, comparing your photo to the ones presented here.
- Then you can either fill out and print the free estimate form
and send it in the mail with your photo or you can scan the
photo yourself, and send it to our email address.
You can also scan your photo, save it to a CD and mail that to us.
- Be sure to include your name, address, phone number, and a short summary of what you would
like done to the photograph. Please scan your photo at a resolution of 300 dpi on the color setting
even if the photo is black and white. See scanning tips if you choose this option.
- If we receive your photo in the mail, we will scan it and then put it away for safekeeping.
From this point on, all processes are performed on the digital image so that your original image is not altered.
- We will make an analysis of the work which needs to be done, and we will e-mail you an estimate.
Once we have your approval we'll proceed with the project. If you decide not to pursue the
restoration project, we'll return your original photo promptly.
- Upon completion, we'll send you an e-mail proof of the work done. Once we have
your final approval, again through e-mail, we'll complete the restoration process, accepting payment at this time
through Paypal or by check payable to Elizabeth Sipps. We will then return your originals along
with an archival print of your photo, and a digital file of the restored photo on CD.
